How we get to celebrate birthdays with family and friends

This days are usually celebrated often with birthday gifts, birthday cards and birthday party. We all  get to celebrate Christ's birth with chapattis and the likes. Internet also reflects your birth-date on your wall, Safaricom not being left behind. The funny beat comes in when someone asks, ‘’How old are you?’’. Being younger a person’s lies and being older still a person lies. Then why celebrate birthdays if you aren’t proud of being a year older. Birthday parties for me isn’t my thing. Everyone looking at you, you being the centre of everything. Well personalities define us. At times we tend to forget our days not because we want to but the devil. Every day, every month, every year is a birthday to someone worldwide. Every celebration is a heritage to every family regardless of how it is being celebrated. This day brings about harmony, unity and peace with family and friends.
